What Is Volume Level Measurement?

3D level scanners or quantity measurement technology is an Israeli innovation designated to assess the volume of different materials. It is founded on output signal that penetrates dust and measures the substance, whether solid or powder, by simply sending a sign and estimating how long it return to the gadget.

Among the challenges of large scale manufacturing in a variety of industries such as cement, food, chemicals, plastics and other people is accurately assessing the stock in order to handle properly the entire manufacturing process.

There are many types of silos and additional storage bins of different shapes and sizes which differ in several standard features such as particle size, particle type, dielectric constants and more. The conditions inside the storage containers and silos create the measurement procedure hard as they're dusty, have irregular surfaces anomalies and are subject to unbalanced filling and draining.

The Existing Technologies and Their Drawbacks:

The main 3 technology until lately for measuring the degree of solid substances inside silos and other containers measure the substance only at the same point of the surface thus don't provide adequately accurate measure of the average degree of the substance. Another tech in this field subtracts the weight of an empty container from a packed container. The most important shortcoming of the technology is that it is expensive and needs a built-in of load cells in the silo.

The 3D level scanner offers a different solution. Seca is based on low frequency echoes that measure the entire surface of the content instead of only one arbitrary point. The scanner not only measures the level of the material but also the volume and mass of this content. The system employs an array of beam-former that deliver low frequency rhythms in the fabric of the container. The signal is analyzed from the device and produces 3-dimensional picture of this material surface displayed on a remote screen.
